PSYCHOLOGIST

Karolina Pasierbek – Little Bee Psychology 

Karolina Pasierbek is a dedicated, highly experienced child psychologist who brings her expertise in neurodiversity to ACCESS Paediatric Clinic through her private practice, Little Bee Psychology. With a gentle and compassionate approach, Karolina offers specialized assessment services for children up to 17 years, (as well as adult AD and ADHD assessments including:

  • ADHD Assessments
  • Psycho-Educational Assessments
  • Autism Assessments (as a part of a specialist’s multidisciplinary team with a speech pathologist

For Autism assessments, children typically begin with an initial evaluation by a paediatrician. When further clarification is needed, Karolina provides a comprehensive second opinion to help finalize the diagnosis, ensuring that each case is thoroughly considered.

Please note: Karolina’s services are focused exclusively on assessments and do not include psychotherapy sessions.

Little Bee Psychology conducts multidisciplinary autism assessments by a psychologist and speech pathologist accredited by Autism SA, following their guidelines.  Karolina and Aliya have expertise in working with children, young people, and adults.  They provide assessments in various settings to accommodate the family’s specific needs.  Their focus includes internalised presentations of autism and PDA profiles.

Anna Ritan – Nourish Little Lives – Dietician

Anna is an Accredited Practicing Paediatric Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist, with over 15 years of clinical experience and specializes in paediatric and neonatal nutritional therapy and dietary education.  Anna has worked as a clinical Senior Paediatric Dietitian in large hospitals and brings a wealth of experience to private practice, having worked with thousands of families in hospital and outpatient settings, and undertaking clinical research and quality improvement strategies to support children in hospitals.

Anna completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and has completed additional post-graduate training in Paediatric and Neonatal Nutrition, including paediatric food allergy and intolerance, infant nutrition and growth, and neonatal nutrition. Anna is also an S.O.S feeding therapist, and has experience in running multi-disciplinary clinics for children with complex feeding issues, fussy eating, oral aversions and home enteral nutrition, and has a particular interest in supporting children with neurodivergent related feeding difficulties and paediatric eating disorders.

Anna’s extensive experience in nutrition can assist with:

  • Paediatric disease and disability including paediatric home enteral nutrition, and nutrition for disability and feeding difficulties.

  • Allergies and intolerances like cow’s milk protein allergy, and gut health issues such as infant reflux, constipation, malabsorptive disorders, coeliac disease, and IBS.

  • Infant nutrition, starting solids, growth and nutrition concerns like faltering growth.

  • Neonatal nutrition, and is an expert in infant nutrition and early life for conditions such as prematurity, growth and intake issues.

  • Trained in the S.O.S (sequential oral sensory) approach to fussy eating and other approaches and has experience in running multi-disciplinary clinics for children with complex feeding issues, fussy and restrictive eating, sensory-based feeding disorders, ARFID and neurodivergent related feeding difficulties.

As a busy mum of 3 young children, Anna is passionate about supporting families from conception through childhood, finding individual strategies that work, and understanding that no two families are alike. She is passionate about supporting children to become happy, confident eaters, establishing a healthy relationship with food and taking the stress out of mealtimes.

    Martin Diep | Optometrist

    Optometrist

    Martin’s qualifications include:
    Fellow of the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry
    Master of Optometry
    Bachelor of Optometry (Hons)
    Bachelor of Science (Vision Science) (Hons)
    CASA Credentialed Optometrist

    Martin completed his Bachelor of Visual Science and Bachelor of Optometry in Sydney before moving to South Australia. Additional qualifications in Behavioural Optometry means that Martin can provide unique support for those who may be experiencing learning related visual difficulties.

    He has also obtained a Specialist Certificate in Anterior and Dry Eye Disorders to help patients that suffer from this common problem.

    Originally from Sydney, Martin has been part of the Victor Harbor community since 2018.

    He’s become an integral part of local organisations including;

    • The South Coast Choral and Arts Society
    • Business Victor Harbor
    • BNI South Coast

    As part owner of See Optometry, he has advanced skills in vision, child development and learning, and the effects of concussion on vision. Martin is a life long learner, continually updating his skills to remain current.

    Martin loves working with people with unique visual needs who require a higher level of vision care, such as brain injury, glaucoma and children with developmental delays. He also values the time he gets to spend with clients who have with less complex needs, he’s passionate about providing top quality eyecare.

    Fiona Chappell

    Director | Registered Psychologist | Board-Approved Supervisor

    Fiona Chappell is the Director of Southern Psychologists and a Registered Psychologist with a background in education and extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. She brings a strong developmental and systems-informed perspective to both assessment and therapy and is known for her warm, collaborative, and respectful approach.

    Fiona has a particular interest in perinatal and early parenting support and works with parents and caregivers to support emotional wellbeing, bonding, and attachment in the transition to parenthood. She is trained in Circle of Security (COS) and integrates attachment-based, trauma-informed approaches to strengthen caregiver–child relationships, parental reflective capacity, and relational safety.

    Fiona works with a wide range of psychological and developmental presentations, including:

    • Perinatal mental health and early parenting support (including Circle of Security, COS)

    Fiona holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and practices within a formulation-driven, evidence-based framework.

    As Director and a Board-Approved Supervisor, Fiona provides clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists and is committed to high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based practice. She works collaboratively with clients, families, and clinicians to support meaningful improvements in functioning and wellbeing.
